Rock music in the 1960s and 70s brought an awareness of activism to the forefront of pop culture. The introduction of music videos in the early 80s elevated this art form to a visual level, and it can can be argued that some approached this new medium with mindfulness in their lyrics and visuals. Join certified mindfulness teacher and pop culture fan Shane Ledford as he explores some of the most widely celebrated and thought provoking videos from the 1980s and their relationship to mindfulness. A sampling of the artists to be explored may include Tears for Fears, Crowded House, Genesis, U2, and Michael Jackson.
