Mindfulness can help children and adults alike develop self-awareness and self-regulation skills for greater wellbeing and resilience. We are inviting parents to their own class in the Peace Pod and their elementary school age children ages 5-10 to their own developmentally appropriate class in our adjacent practice room to learn about and practice mindfulness with trained mindfulness teachers. We will explore some combination of mindful movement, meditation and/or mindful creativity practices during our meetings. Teachers and participants will all come together at the end of practice for Q & A.
