The Midwest Alliance for Mindfulness offers a weekly community-wide mindfulness practice meeting led by a rotating group of trained mindfulness teachers. All are welcome, from absolute beginners to experienced practitioners. Each class involves some combination of guided meditation or other activities designed to strengthen mindfulness and compassion for self and others. Time for discussion will be reserved near the end. Wear comfortable clothing and have a meditation cushion on hand if you wish to practice from the floor. You are also welcome to practice from a chair as well. A limited number of folding chairs, cushions and other props are available on site to borrow.

⚠️ This class is often offered both online and on site. Please check the class location (below the course title) to see if you are registering to attend online via Zoom or on-site. You can read about our online etiquette here https://mindfulness-alliance.org/offerings/online-offerings/.

⚠️ Pre-registration is required in order to receive the Zoom link or building access code via email.

Cost
$15 or FREE to members and first-timers by using discount code MAM100 at checkout (membership is as low as $15 per month). Nonmembers experiencing extreme financial hardship are welcome to use our "pay what you can" pass - purchase it first for as little as $1 before registering for the class.

All of our classes are scheduled in the US Central time zone. Please arrive on time as we will start promptly (for onsite participants, the inner suite door is locked and the teacher may not hear you to let you in if you arrive late). We have 24 hour cancellation policy for these classes and no refunds are given for missed classes.
