What happens when we live our lives with the end in mind? How might a profound recognition of our interconnection with one another and the natural world change how we see ourselves? What if we actually valued the lived experience and wisdom that can come with aging? How might it be to embrace death as an important milestone in life's journey? When we live more mindfully and intentionally, acknowledging our impermanence, we find a deeper recognition and greater appreciation of the preciousness of each moment. We're better able to direct our attention and energies toward what is most important, giving us greater freedom and space for experiencing wonder, meaning and joy.

Join psychologist Tracy Ochester, PsyD and certified mindfulness/yoga instructor Shane Ledford, CMT-200. Each week we will explore a related topic through experiential activities and mindful dialogue. Participants will be invited to engage in specific practices and learning experiences between meetings. Space is limited to only 12 participants so we will have plenty of room for personal sharing. We will unpack the following concepts:

  1. Rehumanzing Ourselves: Who Are We Really?
  2. Embodying Our Aspirations and Living Our Values
  3. Do We Go and If So, How?
  4. When All Seems Lost: Courageously Facing the Full Catastrophe
  5. The Good Life: Elevating the Foundational Determinants of Wellbeing
  6. Embracing the Mystery: Walking Each Other Home
When: 6 Wednesdays from 6-8 pm Central time March 16 through April 20, 2022
