Mindfully meet the reality of constant change and how our attempts to avoid it feel in the body and heart. Through the integrated experience of guided meditation and process art, this session will support you in increasing awareness of how clinging and aversion show up for you, and how you can cultivate a friendly relationship with impermanence.

Materials:

  • Your art journal and one extra sheet of watercolor paper OR 2 sheets of watercolor paper (90 lb.)

  • Watercolor paints

  • Masking tape

  • Board to hold the watercolor paper

  • Spray bottle w/ water

  • Writing paper

  • Waterproof pen

  • Glue

  • Gesso

  • Markers, gel pens, acrylic markers

  • Materials for layering, e.g.: collage items, acrylics, stencils, stamps, whatever you have available or want to use
