Hack Your Nervous System is a card deck by licensed mental health counselor Brianna Rose based on mindfulness and polyvagal theory to help regulate the nervous system. This deck was inspired by the science behind somatic experiencing as well as contemplative traditions like yoga, qigong, Buddhist psychology, and Eastern medicine. During this 2-hour in-person workshop, Julia Billquist and Deah Robinson will guide participants in a selection of practices from the card deck. Through mindfulness principles and inquiry, we will explore activities that stimulate curiosity about the mind-body experience and support self-awareness, self-empowerment and stress relief. We will be practicing companionate silence together and time will be reserved for group processing near the end of the session. Please bring a journal and a yoga mat if you have one.

All of our classes are scheduled in the US Central time zone. Pre-registration is required so we can plan accordingly. No refunds the day of the event or thereafter.
