Join MAM Mindfulness Teacher Training program trainee Nan Moses for her capstone class. Qigong (pronounced “chee gong") is a Chinese contemplative movement practice of coordinated body-postures, gentle, flowing movements, breathing, and meditation. There is research supporting qigong for balance training and fall prevention, cognition and memory, and managing physical and psychological symptoms related to chronic illness. Nan will be guiding us in qigong practices for increasing self-compassion at or near Sar-Ko-Par Trails Park pavilion overlooking Rose’s Pond in Lenexa, KS. Bring water to drink and something to sit on and wear clothing you can move in.
