at 7:00 pm

Class length

Location

This class is a great place to start, or to start anew. Each class will focus on building the basic skills of concentration and awareness. While these skills are foundational for mindfulness and many other contemplative practices, they are also restorative in and of themselves. This series will help participants demystify mindfulness, discover through experience what techniques are most effective, and discuss in community how to apply them in daily life. Guidance will include some combination of walking, standing, sitting, mindful movement, breathwork, and/or lying down practices, with plenty of time for questions. They're perfect for beginners or anyone wanting a back-to-basics experience within a supportive community.

When: Four Mondays from 7-8 pm starting April 8, 2024. Attend one or all four. Pre-registration is required.

Cost:
  • $15 for non-members (non-members experiencing extreme financial hardship are welcome to use our "pay what you can" pass - purchase it first for as little as $1 before registering for the class)
