Join the MAM team for a teacher-led  mindfulness retreat in which we explore mindful ways to renew and restore ourselves through nature connection and community. Setting aside a longer protected time for continuous practice is a great way to deepen your mindfulness experience.

We will enjoy a variety of optional practices  all while maintaining companionate silence, including:

  • guided stillness practice
  • gentle mindful movement
  • nature connection on the walking trails if the weather allows
  • mindful creativity project - construct your own portable altar. An altar is a sacred space that helps us connect with what matters most. All materials will be provided, but you will be invited to bring in some of your own meaningful items if you'd like to. Those who do not wish to engage in the creativity practice during the retreat have an option to take home a kit with materials and instructions so they can do the practice at home on their own time instead.
A simple lunch will be provided or you can bring your own. A photographer/videographer may be at this event recording images and sound for our new web page. Your participation at this event indicates your consent to use your image and voice in our marketing materials should we choose to do so.

When: Saturday March 1, 2025 from 9 am - 2 pm

Where: Hollis Renewal Center in Bonner Springs, Kansas

Cost: $75 (MAM members save 20% by entering discount code MEMBERS20 at checkout - save by becoming a member https://mindfulness-alliance.org/membership/.
