Join Shane as he continues his now-annual exploration of James Norbury’s bestselling graphic novels with the recently released “
The Dog Who Followed the Moon.” This is a beautifully illustrated fable about persevering amidst life’s changes and challenges, and the mentors and friends who help us during our journey.
Please note: this book does include descriptions of being alone, lost, and briefly attacked… as well as facing death… yet it provides many mindful lessons and advice in dealing with and overcoming these adversities. It is a heartwarming metaphorical tale about practicing resilience during difficult times.
While Shane will offer his observations from the book, participants are invited to share their thoughts from it as well if they are open to it. Given that, while this book can be read in one sitting, there is no need to have read it or completed it (or even have purchased it) before the gathering…as one could gather insight from it just during the discussion(s). Given it's timeless insights and beautiful illustrations, it may be well worth adding to your collection. Depending on time, a brief meditation might also be included.
