Mindful Eating Half Day Workshop
February 27 (Saturday) at 9:00 am (GMT-06:00)

Online Class

Angie Hardage, LMLP
Class length
3 hours
Midwest Alliance for Mindfulness 11100 Ash Street Suite 103 Leawood, KS 66211
Offered online via Zoom by default and in-person (limited seating) by request. Many of us (and many of those we care for) struggle with our relationship with food, eating, and body image. Learning to source, prepare, and consume our meals more mindfully can help us develop a friendliness towards the foods we eat and the body we nourish. This half day workshop teaches the principles of mindful eating through the three wisdom pathways of study, reflection, and practice. Your guides will take you on an experiential journey toward healing your relationship with food and helping others to do so. A simple snack will be provided for in-person participants for practicing the concepts and skills learned. Online participants must provide their own snack. Periods of gentle mindful movement will be incorporated. This workshop is appropriate for the general public, but 3 CEs are also available for KS and MO licensed mental health professionals.
