A free resilience building opportunity! Explore the concepts of psychological flexibility and experiential avoidance and their relationship wellness and quality of life. psychological flexibility is a super-skill we can hone for resilience in difficult times. It allows us to come into full contact with painful experiences while consciously choosing to act and engage in a meaningful life in alignment with our highest values. People often instinctively narrow their lives in unproductive ways when faced with painful events in an attempt to avoid, escape, or control painful experiences. Cultivating psychological flexibility helps us accept what is here and choose a more flexible way to respond. This offering will be video recorded to share with others. Your attendance indicates your permission for us to freely share your image and voice.
