Mindfulness is both a practice and a way of living - we are mindfully engaged, moment by moment, with others and the world. Engaged mindfulness means embodying what we practice in the crucible of our lives and a thriving world based upon a foundation of compassion depends on everybody having a voice. Join us for a special FREE gathering combining both of these values online via Zoom.

This is a kind and accessible way to make a difference - research shows handwritten letters increase voter turnout. During our time together, we will
  • enjoy a meditation wishing enduring peace and unity for the people of the US,
  • discuss the ways in which mindfulness can help contribute to a co-creating a more sustainable and equitable world, and
  • enjoy music and community as we write letters encouraging citizens to vote in upcoming elections.
This is a non-partisan event and we will not be discussing our political affiliation or beliefs beyond our strong commitment to compassion and democracy. Participants must also register through Vote Forward (it takes 24-48 hours for approval to receive your addresses) before we meet. You will "adopt" potential voters through their platform. Once you receive approval, download your letter templates and print them to have ready before we meet. We will fill them in with our own custom message during the class. To learn more about this letter writing campaign, view the How To page.

This class is FREE to anyone who would like to attend. Use this form to register for the class and the Zoom URL will be emailed to you with your confirmation.

*All participants must have a signed one-time waiver on file with MAM. You can read about our online etiquette here https://mindfulness-alliance.org/offerings/online-offerings/.
