Lovingkindness is friendliness, goodwill, and warmth for ourselves and others. We can cultivate this state of mind through lovingkindness meditation (LKM), an ancient practice with many research-supported benefits. This workshop will enable participants to:
  • Review the origins of LKM
  • Name the sublime states of mind (of which Lovingkindness is one)
  • Differentiate what lovingkindness is from what it is not
  • Summarize the research-based benefits of LKM
  • Create personalized phrases and review the steps
  • Practice lovingkindness meditation under guidance
